I've had a 19 and 21 reg ecoblue 1.5 Kuga. The 19 reg seemed to have passive dpf regen and would cackle and groan occasionally after we'd parked up. No problems at all. No add blue on that one. The 21 reg had a drive to clean system/message to clear the dpf. Only affects cars with keyless entry.
